Bush Point Light.

This is not a gallows. It ws the private lighthouse operated by the Farmer family at the tip of Bush Point. A kerosene lamp was hung each night as an aid to navigation. The U.S. Coast Guard later installed a permanent lighthouse which remains in operation today.
